Art, design, and creation are the fundamental elements that drive this unique office space. Steven Lee, the design director, believes in infusing every design with the designer's soul and resonance. From the entrance door to the clear water mold wall decorated counter, every aspect of this space reflects the designer's intention to create a space that exudes vitality and creativity.
One of the standout features of this design is the use of European classical chandeliers, which not only become the focal point of the space but also symbolize the essence of the design. The combination of black steel stairs and wooden display bookshelves adds a touch of classic elegance and provides a seamless transition between different elements.
Spanning 250 square meters, this office space is designed to maximize visual openness and creativity. Glass compartments are used extensively, allowing for a seamless flow of visual space and movement. The integration of old and new elements from both Eastern and Western cultures adds depth and cultural integration to the overall design.
The challenges faced during the design process included transforming the office space from a classical style to a more modern and industrial aesthetic. This was achieved by incorporating line boards and tea mirrors to create unique shapes while still maintaining a subtle classic fashion beauty.
Completed in 2016 in Taichung City, Taiwan, this office space is a testament to the designer's meticulous research and attention to detail. The use of rich materials and color conversions enhances the original function of the space, creating an atmosphere that is deep, quiet, introverted, and full of creative energy.
The Artistic Humanities office space is a winner of the prestigious A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This award recognizes the design's practicality, innovation, and adherence to professional and industrial standards. It is a testament to the designer's commitment to creating spaces that not only fulfill their purpose but also contribute to a better world.
